With more experience than probably any other company in the construction of motor racing circuits Cebarco Bahrain, part of the KAR Group, continues to provide its clients and partners with a bespoke package for the construction and delivery of motorsports facilities. The last major project delivered by the company was the US$50m lighting and power distribution project at Bahrain International Circuit for the 2014 Bahrain Formula 1.
Having constructed two of the current F1 calendar 's most modern circuits and probably one of the best CIK Kart tracks in the world, Cebarco is looking for the next challenge where it can add its extensive knowledge and experience. In addition to the successful projects delivered, Cebarco has staff who have been involved with the construction of many motorsport facilities aroundthe world, in countries including the USA, Germany, China, Malaysia, Spain and Korea, and the company is proud to offer its clients access to this specialist knowledge on a management basis or via a full turnkey solution.
Over the years Cebarco has developed a reputation for high quality, fast-track construction of motorsport facilities. It developed an international reputation for circuit construction with the opening of the Bahrain Circuit in 2004, which is still acclaimed as the fastest 'rock to race' circuit ever.
This reputation was further enhanced with the glitz of the Yas Marina Circuit in 2009, where the challenge was to turn night into day. In only five months, Cebarco not only managed to manufacture and install the lighting, but also constructed the infrastructure necessary to power that whole installation.
The owner and chairman of the KAR Group of Companies , Khalid M Abdulrahim , says that he enjoys the challenge of making things happen, particularly for projects of national importance. Every project he has carried out associated with motorsport has always carried the responsibility of failure being impossible.
