Dilmunia Island is a major waterfront development spanning approximately 125 hectares and featuring a mix of residential, leisure, commercial and health / wellness amenities. The island has developed the Dilmunia Grand Canal, a crescent-shaped seawater channel extending over 1.6 km. The canal has greatly increased the Project's waterfront and promote a sense of close proximity to the water, also include waterfalls, cascades and water fountains.
The Project consists of Elevated Canal of 1.6km (+5m above MSL), Pumping Station (Sea Water), 5 Pedestrian Bridges, Marina –Quay Wall and relevant Infrastructure /Landscape Works. The pumping system provides water at a central location of the canal. The pumped water will gravitationally flow back into the sea via a system of waterfalls, cascades, Water Features (Fountains, ponds, etc.) and Bridges.
